Home Groups

What are Home Groups?

Home Groups are small groups (roughly 6-12 people) gathering together for Bible study, prayer, worship, fellowship and accountability through the week, typically (but not always) in homes throughout the community. You might have heard of these groups at other churches with names like: Discipleship Groups, Small Groups, Life Groups, Connection Groups, or a variety of other names.

Why Home Groups?

The meeting structure of the early Church, as recorded Acts 2:42-47, included meetings in the temple courts and in homes. Acts 5:42, Acts 20:20 , Romans 16:5, 1 Corinthians 16:19, Colossians 4:15 and Philemon 2 also suggest that meeting in homes was a vital part of church life.
